On Saturday I went for a walk up a hill with my dad and my sister. it was a hot day.  The hill was slippery. 
It was fun going up but it was hard coming down.
I was tired. Me and my sister were way behind
my dad.
We had a break. It was a long break. I felt better 
We kept on walking. It was a long walk.
We found a rock to sit on. It was an amazing.
We went to the top of the hill and then we went down the hill. My sister fell over in the mud. She got back up. We went to the car. That was a great day.

Recount Writing- On Saturday morning.

On Saturday morning

On Saturday morning me and my dad and my sister  

went to the pools at Northland College. 

First we got changed and then we went to have a swim.

It was a cool pool. It was amazing. We went down slide.
It was fabulous.

Next we went to a big pool.  l  tried to swim to the end.
After that we went to the small pool.
It was easy to swim to the end. 

Later on we got a drink. It was good.

Finally we got dressed into our clothes.

We were learning about writing a recount.

I found it easy to write about when we went to the pools.

I found it hard to spell words correctly.

I really enjoyed thinking of interesting words.

Next time I need to use my sounds to spell words.

On Saturday

On Saturday afternoon my family and l went to the

skatepark in Kaikohe to play on the playground.

First l got my skateboard and I slid down the ramp.
I felt amazing because it was fun.

Then we slid down the massive hole. I thought that was cool.

Next we went to the park to play on the swings.
I was swinging very high. It was getting scary.
I felt like I was getting butterflies in my tummy.

After that we went to the shop.
We went to the Warehouse and we got pants a jersey
and we got shoes for me. I was excited.
My new clothes and shoes were comfortable.

I had an amazing day.
